Styles of Dog Play

Did you know that there are lots of different ways that dogs play together? From the chasers to the guys who like tug-o-war, to the ones who prefer to play rough (wrestlers, neck biters, and body slammers), every style is different and not always compatible with every dog.

Knowing what's healthy and when you might need to intervene is really important. Especially for young dogs who are still learning good social manners. Loose, bouncy body movements and balanced play (the dogs take turns) are some of the main things to look for.
